If you are looking to build a real fullstack web application from the ground up using the latest technologies then you’ll love the Advanced React & GraphQL course. It not only guides you through setup and configuration well but also covers complex topics such as authentication, caching, unit testing and deployment.

Whats really great about this course is the author. Wes is a great teacher with lots of experience building complex applications and does a great job at breaking difficult areas down so that even developers who haven’t worked with GraphQL or Apollo can easily follow along.

During the course you build the Sick Fits clothing website from the ground up allowing customers to browse, checkout and purchase clothing items. The payment side is integrated with the popular third party payment processing platform Stripe.

Time is spent building components from scratch with the right amount of startup files provided so that it doesn't feel like a chore spending time writing unnecessary CSS.

I think from a technical standpoint the course is challenging, due to the sheer amount of different topics that are covered.

The JWT section especially would be challenging for someone who has not worked with authentication before although this is dependant on if you have worked in a fullstack capacity in the past.

By taking your time with the course and re-watching videos you will find that a lot of the key concepts seem to sink in more and make more sense. Referencing supporting documentation such as the Apollo and GraphQL docs also helps a lot.

Overall a very impressive course, and with regular seasonal sales you can pick it up for as low as $69.50.
